Neonatal Project
PROJECTS
About the Project
In 2022 we took on our biggest challenge to date, to get our butterfly cot cards, posters and family support into every neonatal unit in the UK. We were lucky enough to receive a grant from Inspiration Health which allowed us to carry out this mammoth task. A group of 25 volunteers spent two days packing 230 Hospital boxes ready to be posted out. This was a total of almost 3500 family packs, 50,000 cot cards, 12,000 posters and lots more.
Loss Stickers
The purple butterfly cot cards work incredibly well in maternity and neonatal units to ensure staff and visitors are aware that this family have sadly lost one of their twins, triplets or multiples. However, once the family is discharged from hospital, the butterfly is still just as important. Oliver’s Butterfly fund kindly raised money to fund stickers to be sent in every family pack moving forward.
These stickers can be placed on hospital notes, red books and used to prompt doctors, health visitors and other medical professional to be aware of the families journey. These can be ordered for free by either families or medical professionals.
Request Stickers
We will post out 5 of each of our stickers to you, "Please Read my Notes" and "In Loving Memory of".
These can be sent to any address in the UK.
