ABOUT BUTTERFLY FUNDS

Our butterfly funds provide families with the opportunity to set up a fund in memory of their child, working with us to determine what the money is spent on in line with our strategic objectives. 

A JustGiving page is created for family members and friends to raise money through ongoing fundraising events, a key asset of our charity’s income.

First established in July 2022 in memory of Hunter Grayson Bath, we now have 6 butterfly funds, working with the most incredible families who are helping us make a huge difference to the loss community.

In Loving Memory of Arlo

Arlo's Butterfly Fund commemorates the life of baby Arlo, lost during a challenging pregnancy of identical twins. Created to raise awareness and support for families navigating similar journeys, the fund aims to honor Arlo's memory by providing essential resources and advocating for improved antenatal care.

In Loving Memory of Aimee

After losing her daughter Aimee at birth, a mother set up Aimee's Butterfly Fund to honor her memory, supporting The Skye High Foundation's vital work in aiding families and healthcare professionals dealing with twin pregnancies and loss.

In Loving Memory of Hunter

Hunter's butterfly fund has been set up in loving memory of Baby Hunter Grayson Bath. His incredible family Gemma, Jonathan, Oakley and Hudson have decided to fundraise for The Skye High Foundation to help families after the loss of a twin.

In Loving Memory of Harry

Harry's Butterfly Fund was created in memory of baby Harry, who tragically passed away at 11 days old after being born prematurely at 25 weeks. The fund supports families in neonatal units, providing emotional support and advocating for improved bereavement resources for those who have experienced the loss of a baby in multiple birth scenarios.

In Loving Memory of Oliver

After unexpectedly giving birth to premature twin boys in September 2022, Oliver sadly passed away shortly after birth while Oscar fought for his life in intensive care for 122 days. The family found solace in the purple butterfly symbol, raising awareness and funds through their Butterfly fund to support other families and hospital staff during difficult times.
